Reset Generation: "Exactly How it Happened"
Posted: Friday August 8th, 2008 by

I've met Joe Blancato a few times over the years. Usually he's a funny, charming guy. He even made it into a comic once before. This time however... he kicked me in the shin and said mean things about my mom. Kinda.

Here's how it happened.
With the release of Reset Generation, Nokia by way of TAP Interactive set up a tournament between journalists, bloggers, press, etc. My first match was against Joe. Conditions: best 2 out of 3. I won the first round easily enough. The second match was tight. And then third match my luck fell apart, and I just missed being able to escape with the princess. Put simply, it was a really good match overall and Joe won fair and square with a little help from his friend Mr. Convenient Spring. **grins** (Sorry Joe, couldn't resist.)

So yeah, Round 1 of the tournament and I was out. These things happen. Someone has to lose. There's no shame in trying. And other such "you're a loser" platitudes. Ah well. I'll be cheering on Joe as the tournament progresses. If you've got to lose, lose to the best right?

For those of you that didn't catch it Monday, Reset Generation is a game designed for N-Gage compatible Nokia N series phones and the PC. If you'd like to give the game a go you can play for FREE at ResetGeneration.Com or Here at GU if you prefer.
