I was talking to someone about a coding project yesterday, and after mentioning how much work I do to keep GU alive, she asked something similar to "Well with all of that do you even have time to do a project like this". My response was simple, "I'll make the time". I went on to explain that unbeknownst to most of you, I typically prefer coding to working on the comic and monitoring the forums. I'd prefer to use artwork as a hobby not as a job.

But I think there's more to it than that. I think right now I'm just burnout. I won't bore you guys with silly details. It just kind of happens from time to time. If the folks at NetDevil Raptor Guts called me tomorrow though...

The problem I have I guess is that I've been doing GU for so long, I don't know what it is I really want to do. Obviously I enjoy doing artwork or GU wouldn't have made it this long. But, I really get a kick out of the challenge of coding. Unfortunately, I don't have a strong enough resume in that field as evidenced by the job interview I mentioned recently. And then of course there's the thing this site actually qualifies me for community management. If I had to pick ONE to focus on for the next 10 years, I have no idea which I would actually pick.

I can tell you this much though, I'd NEVER go into ad sales. **grins**
