Dungeons & Dragons: "Ten Minutes"
Posted: Thursday May 12th, 2011 by

GU often forces me to ask the question "What would Ted do". The truth is (if he was real) he wouldn't have started playing D&D at all. He would have come into the situation knowing basically what it entailed.

D&D just isn't a game for Ted. He doesn't really appreciate what it means to invest oneself into a character. And rolling dice for "hours" just isn't something he'd enjoy when he could just walk into the other room and open Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate or the like.

Now, I'd like to take a minute here and be very clear about Ted's D&D grumbling. It shouldn't be seen as a reflection of the campaign we're playing. I thought the first night went well and am looking forward to the second. It's just a lot easier to shine a spotlight on the thing we all remember and can relate to about virtually ANY tabletop role-playing system.

I'm looking forward to sharing comics about the other players, places, etc. we encounter in the coming weeks. I do want to check with everyone again to get their permission before including them in the comic though.

And if you guys have any stories you want to share , please... feel free.
