Mortal Kombat: "Mortal What?"

I've noticed recently that the comic ideas that I've had where I went with my gut rather than sweat and fuss over them are the ones you guys seem to enjoy the most. So I've been honoring that. And this comic is no exception. I read a news headline and drew the first thing that came to mind.
So the headline came from Gamespot, a website I don't visit very often any more. And for some strange reason Kombat looked like Kornbat. I knew that couldn't be the case but the notion amused me none the less. So I quickly went over in my head what that would look like. A few minutes later, I was drawing it.
Now I'll admit to you guys, I like the black and white news headline panel followed by a humorous reveal. So, I'll try desperately not to over use it. But I can't make any promises.
For now though, it's your turn. What else would be in Mortal Kornbat?

Netherrealm Studios is working on a different project and do not currently have any plans to add more DLC to the most recent Mortal Kombat title. [more info]
