Blizzard and Activision became bedfellows in 2008. In 2010 Bungie hopped under the sheets as well. Now, with massive changes happening in the upper crust of Activision Blizzard management, Bungie has announced that it will be leaving the partnership, and they're taking Destiny with them.
Management changes and Bungie's parting do not seem to have anything to do with each other. Eurogamer hints at tension between the two companies centering around Destiny 2's performance, and a desire to amp up content releases.
