Like yesterday... while I was reading the news last night, I stumbled across the trailer and some gameplay footage for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Set in the time between Revenge of the Sith and a New Hope, Unleashed fleshes out a story about Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and takes the power of the force, gives it some steriods, pumps it full of crack and quite literally "unleashes" it on the Star Wars universe. The Force Unleashed is scheduled for a September 16th US (17th in Australia and South East Asia, 19th in Europe) release and will be available on the 360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, and the PS2. A demo for Unleashed will be made available as downloadable content for PS3 and 360 users on August 21st.

When I watched the gameplay footage for Unleashed, I couldn't help giggle any time Vader's Secret Apprentice (couldn't find a name for him) would grab Stormtroopers with the Force, whip them around the room, smash them into each other, and then send his lightsaber spinning into their rag-dolled bodies. Now, as Darth "I choke Imperial Officers" Vader's apprentice I had to ask myself if it was just part of his training to pick on the grunts?

That idea of "picking" on them reminded me of Ted's exploits yesterday, so I decided to use yesterday's comic as the basis to continue a sight gag with just a bit more damage. If you watch the gameplay footage you'll understand. Besides, if Ted cut off my arm... I'd be pretty pissed.
