Ughh, I hate having to ask. ( Last Updated: January 14th, 2010 )
There are more ways to contribute listed on the Artist for Sale! page if you'd prefer
not to donate or if you'd like something more substantial than a heart felt Thank You.
That being said, thank all of you in advance for your help. I can't tell you how much it means to me that you guys appreciate GU enough to want to help out even when times are tight.! Contributor FAQ ( Last Updated: January 14th, 2010 )
Why PayPal?
PayPal makes it easy for me to keep track of the money coming into GU for tax purposes. And it allows me to accept donations via credit card. [ top ]
What do you do with the money? GU is my job. My only job. So that means that the money that comes in through commissions, donations, panel purchases, advertising, etc. all goes toward my living expenses. [ top ]
Wouldn't it be easier to get a real job? Definately, but it would mean that I'd no longer be able to keep producing the comics. [ top ]
Do I have to use the donate button? Yeah, right now I can really only accept money via PayPal. Please make sure the email address on your PayPal account is current. SOOO... [ top ]
What if I don't have a PayPal account? Honestly, PayPal is the only way I can really track what comes in. Sorry, I've just got so much on my plate, that it's necessary for me to set and adhere to very specific requirements. [ top ]
So how much should I donate? That is completely up to you. I'd honestly rather you click the advertising links or purchase something from the GU store. That way my sponsors, clients, etc. benefit too. [ top ]
If $5 will do, why would someone donate $50? Well, the truth is, different people have different standards for what they feel they can contribute. [ top ]
