World of Warcraft: "Floodgates"

Currently in the WoW Beta, the only class that has not been opened to use to test are the Hunters.
The comic is meant to imply that as soon as the Hunters are opened to us, the class will absolutely flood the entire planets. The poor schmoe in the strip that was making the analogy was so excited about his idea he didn't really care about the consequences. That's an aside to the release of hunters. ie. that sentiment is unrelated.
The reason for the floodgate opening is two fold. We beta testers have been playing the game long enough to have enjoyed almost every class. So, we've seen the same content over and over and over again. The first reason for the floodgate analogy is... most of us still enjoy the content, and will STILL have fun the 6th time through, with a new class.
The second reason for the floodgate analogy is that, in reading up on the abilities (even what little is mentioned on the site), the Hunters sound REALLY freakin sweet. They will have the Hunting and Tracking prowess that we expect out of a "ranger" type class. And, we'll have a wide variety of potential pets to choose from, as any wandering animal mob is a possible candidate for the job.
There also seems to be, scattered all about the lands of Azeroth, animal trainers for the Hunter class. I'm guessing that these NPCs will be how the Hunters will gain the ability to "tame" new types of beasts. I can't say for sure though, because, well, Hunters aren't in the game yet.
I just know that a lot of us are excited about the class and can't wait for them and mounts to be issued into the game (probably the same push).
