Gaming News: "Two Great Tastes"

Microsoft and Sony have announced that they will collaborate on new cloud-based solutions for gaming experiences and AI solution. Go ahead and read that a few more times, I'll wait.
Now the soul of this comic, for me, is focussed on the gaming aspect of this collaboration. But what's being hinted at here is more like Disney buying the Star Wars and Marvel properties from Fox. The press release says the two corporate powerhouses will explore joint cloud solutions to support game and streaming services, better platforms for content creation, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence.

I wasn't expecting this announcement on any level. But, from my very gamer-centric perspective is seems like Microsoft and Sony are keyed in on competing with Twitch and YouTube Live streaming. And, I'm not sure how far back the thread is woven into the comics/writeups but I've been pushing the notion that the next major distribution format would be be "digital". With the wrestling match between Steam and Epic; the growth trajectory of Humble and GoG; the relative success of the various per console stores; and now this, I think we're pretty much there, yeah?
Oh and please note: I have zero issue with Almond Butter. That shit is delicious.
