For as much as I dislike both candidates and the electoral college, I have to admit to being fascinated by the process of electing the president. I watched CNN regarding turnout, numbers, projected winners, etc for hours on end.
Now, what amuses me most is the fact that, for the most part, the reporters are pulling stuff out their collective asses. And it occurred to me more than once, that these people should never be allowed to address the viewing public without a script. Watching them stumble over their deliveries and repeat themselves a half dozen times before utterly failing to make their point was just painful to watch.
At any rate, the analysts have apparently known for days that the vote was going to come down to who took Ohio. So, when it came to doing a comic for today, I figured I'd run with the gimmick, suggesting that the mental process behind whether or not I can make myself do a comic on a daily basis comes down to some elaborate system that means virtually nothing in the end.
I'm sure a lot of folks won't get the humor. But, that's okay. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices for our art. And, had someone asked me a few hours ago if I was going to do a comic... this is probably the EXACT response they would have gotten.
So there you go. A tiny nugget of insight into my confusing sense of humor. We'll likely know in 11 days if I'm really going to do a comic or not. The provisional ballots have to be taken into account. **rolls his eyes**

This thread wasn't really created to talk about politics and what party, candidate, etc sucks. There are PLENTY of other threads on these forums for those express purposes.
The topics for discussion, are:
Why Woody shoulden't do comics that have anything to do with politics.
