Woody & Ted: "PSP Pieces"

So, I went to my local Rhino yesterday to pick up God of War like I mentioned in Yesterday's comic. And while I was there one of the store managers let me play with his PSP.
Now, up until that point I had absolutely no interest in the thing. It was a $250 hunk of plastic crap for all I cared. But, there was obviously some crack or something inflused in the shiney clear plastic, for as soon as I touched it I knew I had to have one.
I knew nothing about the games for the thing though, and the girlfriend had an appointment she needed to attend to. So, I figured I'd make it home, look through the games, and give myself time to get over the "need" to possess the thing. An hour passed before she got home and the feeling hadn't subsided. So, we venture back out into the snow to acquire the precious.
The Rhino guys, who were NOT, I repeat NOT, playing hackysack in the back room, came out and talked us through some of the games, and their own PSP lust. So, I bought one. Opened it up there at the counter as per the advice of one of the GU readers here. Verily there was a blemish; a scratch on the lcd screen beneath the clear plastic. And, due to some shipping delays, several of the games I was interested in had not arrived on time. So, I bought the PSP unit alone. Sure it felt a tad naked, but hey, dedication says I'd be coming back soon anyway. I love Rhino. From now until the 27th you can pick up PSP games for about 50 cents over their costs.
Anywho, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do a comic about it. And, I was going to do a "Poopy" strip. But, it just felt somehow wrong since I wouldn't ACTUALLY have been engrossed with a game. For that aspect of the PSP purchase, I direct you to today's Penny Arcade. (The game Tycho is playing that's so addictive is Lumines. It's a PSP "must have".)
