GU Comics by: Woody Hearn

Gamespot got word yesterday that Capcom would be closing the doors of Studio 8 the US based game studio responsible for the critical flop "Final Fight: Streetwise". This news came from a former Capcom employee, purportedly one of the employees whose job was lost. The closing has yet to be confirmed by Capcom.

Until Capcom confirms the closing, this "news" is little more than a well-supported rumor. And, where GU is not typically given to making comics about rumors, no matter how well supported they are, it was a relatively slow news day. I closed my eyes, and pointed at a list of potential articles. All it really was was a vehicle for displaying the oddity that is Ted anyway. So, I don't feel particularly bad about the "choice".

See, in my mind Ted is the embodiment of that place where mad genius meets mental deficiency. He's as likely to say something brilliant as he is to go on a tangent about cream cheese.

The true beauty is when he says something brilliant about cream cheese.
