Age of Conan: "You KNOW What I Mean"

As Age of Conan opened for early access players, some folks have been running into an unexpected, 15 gig patch. Speculation is rampant, but so far the pre-launch launch seems to be going smoothly enough. Let's hope that relative smoothness carries through to the actual release tomorrow (5/20).
As it is, Age of Conan is slated to take about 30 gigs worth of harddrive space, so I can understand some frustration if some folks are having to download a patch half the size of the game. It should be noted though that a patch, most often, overwrites existing files not add to them. So your "monkey beaters" are probably safe from forced deletion if you're running low on space.
