Everquest: "Old Habits"

Still trying to get back into the swing of things and I find myself failing miserably.
I still haven't really gotten to play the game. So Vhah end's up just standing there while I get something else accomplished. I did find a few minutes to run around. So I made my way to Grieg's End, the hot zone below my level. Unfortunately someone was in there cleaning house so I never got to see if I could function in there solo. On a whim I decided to try my old stomping ground... just to see if my upgrades had really made a difference.
Yup, I headed back to Karnor's Castle. And nope, they didn't really make a difference. I was fighting for what seemed like forever on each mob, and the amount of experience I got for my effort was pitiful. So... I left there too.
I'm guessing within the next few days I'll find some folks to hook up with to run around and lay some smack down. You guys will know shortly after that happens.
