Everquest: "Survivorman Norrath"

Stormhaven and I have talked about shows on the Discovery Channel probably more than anything else since we started working together. And the various survival shows are usually the most heated. She thinks the Colony is too contrived. I think it works within the limited context of the show. I think Les Stroud whines too much. She thinks Bear Grylls is over-the-top and completely phoney. Though I think we can both agree that if it was Bear in this particular comic, Kelethin and a massive crew would be just off camera.
Anywho, when Shark Week was almost upon us Stormy suggested that maybe we do a Survival Show themed week to parallel the sharky goodness. We both agreed, and I think it was for the best, to just go ahead and buy completely into the Shark Week hype and save the Survival Show ideas for later. This was the first one she sent me, and probably my favorite. Though the one about Bear is pretty fun too. I'll try to make sure to do that one soon-ish.
If you're no "getting" the comic, it's Les"the Survivorman" Stroud struggling to survive in Norrath's (that's the world EverQuest is set in for you noobs) Greater Faydark which I think we can all agree is pretty freakin' empty.
