When Capcom released Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, they did so with a little surprise: game data can neither be deleted nor reset. [more info] Despite Capcom's claims that this decision was made to maintain the game's "arcade fighting game" feel, the conclusion most gamers have come to is that it was done to eliminate the game's value on the secondhand market. In either case I think committing the save data to the cartridge rather than the system so that it can not be reset is a dick move. Therefore they deserve a visit from the ADA.
