Dungeons & Dragons: "Primed"

Last night was another "Sunday Night Dungeons & Dragons" and on the heels of our previous session's exploits the Mayor approached us about retrieving an item lost in a hobgoblin ambush. When asked how far we would need to travel to get to the ambush site the Mayor (an unpainted miniature) told us what we needed to know and what we all knew deep down inside.
