The Zapper!: "38 Studios"

Let me start with an apology. The comic is brutal. It actually makes me cringe a little. But it's exactly the kind of thing some folks out there are saying. I've read a lot of posts where the blame is set firmly on Curt Schilling's shoulders. But I'm not certain that's accurate or fair. Granted I've never met the man so I can't offer up a gut feeling of him personally. I just think I would have gotten a little insider whispering if he was THAT bad.
And now there's talk of fraud investigations, etc. [more info] It might very well be that, responsible or not, Mr. Schilling ends up in a nasty fight on his hands still. Especially when the people and state of Rhode Island realize 38 studios' assets aren't worth nearly enough to cover 38 studios' debt.

This weekend Blizzard is offering a 33% discount on StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, bring the price down to $40. [store link] There are also two new Heart of the Swarm videos if you're interested.
