Woody & Ted: "A Few"
Posted: Friday July 13th, 2012 by

As a follow up to yesterday's comic, here's Ted pawning off our vehicle for oh... basically all of the games in the Steam Summer Sale.

But while you're still digging through that awesome let me point at something completely different: Rovio's new physics puzzle game Amazing Alex. It's currently available via iPhone, iPad, and Android with PC, Mac, and Windows Phone versions on the way. If you dig Rube Goldberg contraptions this one is a must have. I only got to play it a short while this morning but I already heart its face.

Ad Revenue < 50% of what I need to Pay Bills...
Okay onto business. If you guys really want to see GU to stick around, it's time (unfortunately) to put your money where your mouths are. I just got the notice from intergi that my advertising check is on its way, and much to my skullpain the payment is less than half of what I need for bills this month. And going in to look at the probable payment for the next two months after that, same bad news. Without intervention (or a new job) I can't make ends meet. As always, I would like to earn it rather than have it just given to me. So please feel free to hit up the Artist For Sale! page.

I'd also like to put it out there that I'd really like to find someone to take on GU's advertising. The site is small, but surely someone with a modicum of skill could do better than what my ad agency is currently doing for me. I'd be happy to discuss specifics if you have the credentials but right now, I'm looking at a 60/40 split with bonuses for hitting certain monthly sales milestones. I'd do this work myself if I had the time.
