Woody & Ted: "Gamer Masochism"

It's such a dark place we go to when we're playing a game that makes us struggle for every digital accomplishment. But, then when we actually DO what we set out to do we look back fondly on the effort.
It's what I call gamer masochism. And, in general, it takes a lot of back to back failure before we'll finally just give up. But, usually that's followed with a mental vow to come back and complete the task later.
Now, I'm not going to waste anyone's time by trying to wax psuedo-psychological here. I'm just gonna say we've all been there. And, apparently, we all love it because we keep going back. What amuses me about the situation is how our normal verbal reservations gets thrown out the window while we're playing games.
I for one hate the F-Bomb. But when I'm playing a game and get really stuck... I've been known to drop it. It takes a LOT. But, it happens.
