Raptor Guts: "Accidentally"

Strategically releasing information to the gamer community is damn near an art form. And the idea of not so accidentally leaked info shouldn't surprise any of you. As a product of the way we take in new news, it seems to be more beneficial to "leak" info through a 3rd party site than it is to issue a press release. Leaks seem to make us feel like we're getting something we're not supposed to or that we're somehow on the inside looking at something exclusive.
GU is neither immune to the effect nor the request to be the site that "leaks" info. It's not something I really like to do. Maybe I'm too much of a goodie-goodie but it just feels a bit shady. I get all fidgety and and mumble stuff like "why don't they just release the damn information themselves" despite already knowing the answer. There are a few rare exceptions. I have to really like the people at the studio though.
So, the web guy in the comic there... I haven't given him a name yet. See he's VERY loosely based on a guy I used to work with back in the day. His name was Tom. And where I'm inclined to call this guy Tom in tribute, this is not a caricature. So it feels somehow, wrong. Besides I don't think Tom would appreciate me drawing him with a face like a handbag.
