A Boy and His Blob: "A Boy and his Hug"

Tooling around the gaming news blogosphere I ran across a story at Joystiq [more info] about a remake of the classic A Boy and his Blob for the Wii. After retching violently from using the buzz word "blogosphere" in a sentence without heavy doses of sarcasm attached, I watched the "remarkably huggable" video embedded in the Joystiq article.
A little over a minute and a half into the video I saw something so cute I nearly giggled rainbows. The boy called to his Gleep-like friend and promptly wrapped him in a warm embrace. Searching desperately for something to keep me from uttering an audible 'Awwwww!' I filled in my moment of discomfort with some seemingly appropriate dialogue. The result was this comic.
I know it's probably wrong of me to take something so innocent and twist it thus. But, well... I've been doing that quite a bit lately. I've decided my audience is old enough now to handle my sense of humor, somewhat coarse though it may be.
Anywho, we can add this to the growing list of games I'd like to buy. If only I could leverage my coarse sense of humor for the cash to acquire these games... oh wait!
