Dungeons & Dragons: "Roll A d20"

A pitiful hip-hop outfit writes a crap dance tune (/opinion) called "Like a G6". Another group rebuts with a parody song hawking D&D culture and game mechanics called "Roll a D6". Both of them make my skull hurt.
I understand that some leaps must be taken for the sake of satire and parody. I get it. So I don't fault Connor Anderson for his effort AT ALL. But this thing is being sent to me by almost every method of communication I currently have available to me. On top of that, it seems as if every other person I have "friend"ed on facebook is posting the thing to their wall. But I simply have to ask: have we strayed so far from out nerd roots that we accept that the DM is going to somehow kill a character or check to see if they can steal a wallet by way of having them roll a d6?
Sure sure, I accept that I'm nit-picking here. I'll even cop to being completely unfair about it. But if you want to impress me with you parody, make it accurate. Until then it's not a Nerd Anthem and I refuse to treat it as such.
My apologies in advance for twicking any of you off. But apparently if you try hard enough you can steal my wallet and kill me by rolling the wrong die.
