The Zapper!: "Star Wars: Galaxies"

I know I probably mentioned it earlier this year when it was announced. I probably also ranted about the original sandbox design, the combat change, the revisit, etc. But the fact is, in just a couple of weeks (Dec. 15th) Star Wars Galaxies will be shut down. And a just a few days after that (Dec. 20th) Star Wars the Old Republic will hit shelves. The passing of the Star Wars MMO torch will be complete.
Originally I had a discussion of SWtOR beta here, but that ended up feeling a bit insensitive to SWG's plight. So... I removed it. **whistles**
