20 days ago I mocked the rumors about what the next Xbox is and is not supposed to have. None of it was confirmed. All of it was just hearsay, which didn't impress me at all. Now the next Playstation is getting a very similar treatment.
Rumors...
New processor, new GPU, blah blah blah. No backwards compatibility, PSN used to lock new games and serve as an anti-used game measure, people who buy used games will be limited to a trial mode and will have to pay a fee to unlock/register the full game. [more info]
You know what? Seriously, I just don't care anymore.
It's the same story with the same corporate stupidity followed by the same gamer ranting. The only way any of them are going to learn is if we stop giving them our money. Vote with your wallet folks. I promise it's effective (if enough of "us" do it).
