Final Fantasy XIV: "Breaking Point"

Listen, I don't know much about Final Fantasy XIV. I never got into the first FF MMO. So there wasn't much reason to look into this one especially with the wailing and gnashing of teeth I heard coming out of the community. And that was -with- the indefinite extension of the free to play trial. Well now the "free" party is up. Starting January 6th it'll cost folks $6.99 to subscribe and $3 per character save slot per month (at least until the v2 relaunch). I understand that this is reduced from the intended subscription fee, but from what I've been told the game isn't worth it in its current state and that it's quite possible that this could drive away the folks that remain and kill the game. **shrugs** I'd zap that.

UPDATE: changed the artwork of the comic. I'm much happier with it than the first go. And now the boss mob is relevant to the game.
